6/20/21 “Parenthood: A Mix of Emotions” by Pastor Jim Lindus

Parents run a gamut of expressions when raising children, especially during the teen years.
Consider Mary and Joseph when they thought they had ‘lost’ Jesus, who had stayed behind in the Temple to talk with the resident teachers. For three days they searched for him, and when they found him, it was a mix of relief and anger and of ponderance as he reminded them of his purpose.
In this Father’s Day sermon, Pastor Jim explores a hard but necessary truth for parents to understand and accept: our children are only on loan to us.
